Located in beautiful downtown Saratoga Springs, New York, Saratoga Dance, Etc. opened its doors in 1990 and has since supplied students and professionals alike with name brand apparel, shoes and gifts from the most respected manufacturers in the dance business. 

As a former soloist with the New York City Ballet, founder Leslie Roy-Heck’s experience and reputation has made Saratoga Dance a destination for professional pointe shoe fittings. For first timers, a fitting with her is a full-on educational experience for the dancer and parents covering the basic anatomy of the foot, the structure of a pointe shoe, safety and care of the shoes, sewing and so much more! For experienced students and pre-professionals, Leslie is a trusted resource for trouble shooting issues all dancers en pointe face as their skills advance. As the foot changes, the make and model of shoes may change. And sometimes, a simple modification to a shoe is all that is needed for the “perfect fit”.

In addition to expert fittings, it is the store’s primary goal to provide each customer with a memorable shopping experience in a relaxed and beautiful environment. Our dedicated staff have extensive knowledge of the dance industry, and their high level of expertise contributes greatly to the success of the store.
